Canang Sari & Offering Making

Discover the traditions of Balinese farming through hands-on activities including rice planting, offering-making, and a traditional jamu demonstration at Bali Eco Farm.

Step into the rhythm of traditional Balinese life through an immersive Bali Cultural Farming experience at Bali Eco Farm. This approximately 4-hour journey invites guests to explore the deep connection between culture, farming, and nature that has shaped Bali for generations.

The experience begins with a Cultural Introduction to Subak, Bali’s traditional irrigation system recognized for its philosophy of harmony between people, nature, and spirituality. Guests will learn how this ancient system has guided Balinese farmers for centuries.

You will then take part in Canang Sari offering-making, where you will learn the meaning behind Bali’s daily rituals and create your own traditional offering using flowers and natural elements.

The journey continues with a Sustainable Farming session, introducing the principles of eco-friendly agriculture and the importance of maintaining balance with the natural environment.

Guests will also enjoy a Traditional Jamu Making demonstration, where fresh herbs and natural ingredients are used to prepare Indonesia’s traditional herbal wellness drink.

The highlight of the experience is rice planting in the paddy fields, where guests step into the mud and learn the traditional way of planting rice alongside local farmers. This hands-on moment offers a truly authentic and memorable connection to Bali’s agricultural heritage.

This cultural farming experience invites guests to slow down, reconnect with nature, and discover the traditions that continue to shape life in Bali.
